"One-Pot Vegetable Pulao: A Quick and Healthy Meal"

 Relished in every Indian home, try this appetising combination of rice and Healthy veggies with freshly made raita and salad. 



VEGETABLE PULAO

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup basmati rice 
  • 50 gms. shelled peas 
  • 50 gms. carrot (chopped) 
  • 1 onion (chopped) 
  • 50gms. potatoes (chopped)
  • 1tsp cumin seeds ( jeeera)
  • 2 dal chinni 
  • 2 laung 
  • 2 cup of water 
  • Salt
  • Black pepper 


Method :

1. Wash and soak rice for 20 mins, Drain excess water and keep aside. 

2. Take a cooker and ghee for 30 secs at sim gas 

3. Add cumin , cloves, black cardamoms, bay leaves salt and chopped onions . 

4. Add all other vegetables, soaked rice and 2 cup of water and wait for 6 mins. 

5. Allow to stand for 5 mins and serve green chatni and dhai .





You can add vegetables, mushroom , or soya nutrinuggets to make it more nutritious .
